our team

Our idea is growing organically to involve more voices, interests and expertise. We are delighted to work with other art & technology organizations, schools, young millennials and companies.

The challenges we face today, like climate change, water scarcity and the increase of inequality, are calling us to transform the way we think and act in order to create a better future.

We cannot solve problems with the same thinking that created them,

Our vision

Art + Tech Society believes a better future can be created, by stimulating people to develop a new cultural mindset; one that uses art to make sense of the new world and uses technology and entrepreneurship to empower people to collaborate for a common purpose. In this new mindset, people become more self-, socially- and environmentally- aware of their impact, as individual and part of a collective; technological and artistic creativity come together to make people happy and live well; everyone is valued and respected and in which civilization appreciates the intrinsic value of the natural environment so that innovation has a positive ecological impact.

Our mission

Art + Tech Society (ATS) is a new and non-profit foundation, established in Eindhoven, committed to contribute to make this envisioned future by using art, technology and entrepreneurship in an impactful way. We do and will activate and empower people, organizations and communities to collaborate. We aim to become an impactful think-tank that creates knowledge and know-how, perhaps even wisdom, through organizing exhibitions, workshops and meetings in which reflection and awareness take place and people are given the means to start making change happen.

Our way of working

We believe that “art” can help people to become more creative, help them envision a better future and give them the motivation to reach it. Read more.

volunteering Work vacancies

We have open vacancies for volunteering work.

What do we offer?

ATS offers you the opportunity to work within a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of enthusiastic people who are committed to make a sustainability contribution in the region Eindhoven.

You will get experience building and working in a social-enterprise in the Netherlands. You will interact with different societal groups of the Dutch community like designers, artists and other art & technology institutions.

This is a great opportunity to increase your network and be connected with the activities happening in the city.

The positions that we offer are:

Social Media Coordinator

Do you live in Eindhoven or nearby?
Are you creative, outspoken and outgoing, interested in the social inclusion of newcomers to Eindhoven? Can you harness the power of social media to get the word out and get newcomers to Eindhoven and our potential partners enthused about our game?
Then we should definitely meet!

We are a creative team of volunteers, members of Art&Tech Society, and we’re currently preparing the second edition of “Connecting Eindhoven”, a social game which enables participants to discover Eindhoven in a gamified way. Participants work in teams to complete social challenges/missions in one day. Eindhoven is the playground, its hotspots are the game landmarks, but the true wins are the people (both locals and expats) and their interaction. The pilot game was rated 8/10 on an average by the participants.

Over the next year, we want to improve our game, conduct 3-4 events and prepare the game for branching out to other cities in the Netherlands. For that to happen, we need you!

Your role will be to help us reach and engage our target participants by designing and executing the social media strategy through various channels  (i.e.Facebook, Eventbrite, etc). Photography and video-making skills will definitely come in handy.

This is an opportunity to leave a mark, think and play out of the box, expand your own network and work in a highly creative, interdisciplinary team.

Are you creative, strategic – a “connector” by nature?
Do you want to bring new initiatives to the market, by working with the local and expat community in Eindhoven?
